Welcome to Locaid, the world’s largest location-enabling mobile transaction platform. In this document, you will learn everything you need to know about how to activate your application to begin using our location enabling services.

Below are all the steps you need to begin retrieving location from the Locaid Xchange Gateway (LXG).

1. Activate your application
   • Fill out an application form
   • Work with a Locaid location specialist to determine the appropriate system flow within the Locaid privacy framework known as Privacy Vault™
   • Receive an application ClassID
2. OPT-IN end users and conform to other Privacy Vault requirements
3. Code the Locaid API’s into your application
   • Download and import the Locaid Web Services Certificate into your development environment
   • Request and receive location information using the Get X / Y API
